State Offers Field Testing Incentive:
The Florida State Legislature has approved a 3-5 year study on how to reduce nitrogen in onsite septic systems entitled, “Florida Onsite Sewage Nitrogen Reduction Strategies (FOSNRS).” A key component to this study is the field testing of existing onsite septic systems throughout the state.
The environmental engineering firm in charge of this project, Hazen & Sawyer, is looking for onsite septic system homeowners willing to participate in this field testing trial. A $250 incentive will be awarded to those qualified sites who are selected by Hazen & Sawyer.
If you wish to be considered, please read the two links listed below.
Homeowners who wish to be considered can fill out an online residential evaluation survey to determine if they qualify.
The Markham Woods Association supports the FOSNRS project, however, if you choose to participate, this agreement will be between you and the environmental engineering firm Hazen & Sawyer. The Markham Woods Association would not be a party.
